Predator Hunting in Mexico
Mexico's wide open spaces and dense predator populations make it one of the best predator hunting destinations in North America. If you are looking for the ultimate predator hunting experience, Sonora Mexico is where you will find it!
Sonora, Mexico Predator Hunts
When you combine the large numbers of predators with extremely low hunting pressure, our Mexico predator hunts are nothing short of AMAZING! There is a near-endless supply of country that has never heard the sound of a predator call on our Sonoran ranches, and with the limited number of hunters we bring each year, the action never seems to stop.
DIY & Semi-Guided Predator Hunts
All of our predator hunts are offered on a DIY/self-guided or semi-guided basis. These hunts begin in the months of February through March after our deer hunts conclude. Pricing starts at $500 per person per day (minimum of 2 hunters & 3 days) on the DIY hunts and $750 per person per day (minimum of 2 hunters & 4 days) on the semi-guided hunts. Gun permits will be necessary at a cost of $350 per permit and you can bring up to two rifles per permit. These permits usually take a couple of months to process so scheduling your trip well in advance is a necessity.
The hunting packages for these hunts are fully customized to each group's needs and schedule, so just let us know what you are looking for and we will do our best to accommodate.

What to Expect On a Mexico Predator Hunt
Private Ranches
When you book a predator hunt with MADD Hunts, you will have an entire private ranch to yourself with the freedom to hunt and explore as much as you want. Almost all of our coues deer and mule deer hunting ranches are suitable for a predator hunting add-on as well.
Call-Responsive Predators
The low hunting pressure makes the predators in Mexico extremely responsive to calling, making this a great opportunity for you to grow your predator hunting and calling skills. We encourage hunters to bring their favorite electronic calls along with hand calls. Remember, this isn’t like calling in the U.S. for call-shy coyotes that get hunted over and over all winter. Most of these animals have never been called to and will usually commit, giving even the most novice of hunters ample shot opportunities throughout the trip.
Target-Rich Environment
Sonora is a target-rich predator hunting environment to say the least, and if you're lucky, you might get the entire "Sonoran Predator Slam" in one hunt.
The predators available to hunt in Sonora are:
- Coyote
- Bobcat
- Gray Fox
- Javalina

Coyote Hunting in Mexico
Hunting coyotes in Sonora, Mexico, is very different from anywhere else in North America. These coyotes are almost completely "natural", meaning they respond to calling like true wild coyotes do and you will often have multiple coyotes come sprinting into your call.
This is some of the best coyote hunting you can find!

Bobcat Hunting in Mexico
The Mexican Bobcat that inhabits Sonora, Mexico, is one of the smallest sub-species of bobcat. It makes up for its smaller size by having one of the most beautiful coats of any other bobcat subspecies.
The population of bobcats in Mexico is truly something special, and our success rates reflect this.

Gray Fox Hunting in Mexico
Gray fox hunting is one of Mexico's specialties. These shy, nocturnal little foxes can be difficult to hunt but the dense population and responsiveness to calling in Sonora, just like our other predators, makes your odds of success high. There are only a few states in the U.S. where you can hunt gray foxes, and most can't compare with Mexico!
This is a must-do on your predator hunt in Sonora.
Javalina Hunting in Mexico
Although Javalinas are not technically predators, we include them in our predator hunts since they fall under the general category of pest control. Also known as Collared peccaries, these small pigs are incredibly fun to hunt. They can be hunted with a bow or rifle and are great to hunt spot and stalk, over water/feed, or even by calling!
No trip to the desert is complete without some Javalina hunting.
